kyuu is a research-driven process simulator created in cooperation with Hamburg University of Technology.
kyuu was born from a simple frustration: process simulation software was either too complex for learners or too rigid for researchers. We believed there had to be a better way.
In cooperation with Hamburg University of Technology (TUHH), we set out to build a simulator that puts understanding first. One that doesn't hide behind layers of menus and legacy interfaces, but instead helps engineers see what's actually happening in their processes.
We want to make process simulation accessible to everyone — from students taking their first thermodynamics course to seasoned engineers optimizing industrial plants.
kyuu is web-based by design. No installation, no license dongles, no IT tickets. Open your browser, build your flowsheet, and start learning. Your data stays encrypted on EU servers, because privacy isn't a premium feature — it's a baseline.
Every feature we add must reduce complexity, not increase it. If it takes a manual to use, we haven't finished designing it.
Simulation isn't just about numbers. We help engineers understand the "why" behind every result, turning data into insight.
Your data is yours. End-to-end encryption, EU hosting, zero-access architecture. We can't read your data — and that's by design.
